How do I create an account?

Navigate to the bottom of the page and click the green, highlighted "Sign Up", or follow this link Free Sign Up.
Input your first name, last name, ranch name, email address, password and phone number. Click "Sign Up" to finish.
"Registration Successful" will appear in a blue box. Enter your newly created credentials and "Log In."

Navigate to the bottom of the page and click "Sign Up.”
Input your ranch name, first name, middle name (optional), last name, email address, phone number, and password. You may need to scroll down to find all of the boxes. Click ”Create Account" to finish.
”User registered successfully" should appear in a orange box. Enter your newly created credentials and select "Login."

How do I create a herd?

To begin creating a herd, click on "Herds" in the grey header.
Once "Herds" is highlighted in orange, click "Add Herd".
In the new window, enter the herd's information including: name, type, average weight per head, total head, and when the herd first appeared on the ranch. A customizable color and additional notes can also be entered for each herd. Finally, select "Save" at the bottom of the screen to finish setting up the herd.
After clicking "Save", the herd should appear in a list under the "Herds" tab. To edit any details, click on the name of the herd highlighted in green.

How do I create a pasture?

To begin creating a pasture, click on "Pastures" in the grey header.
Once "Pastures" is highlighted in orange, click "Add Pasture".
In the new window, enter the pasture information including: name, type, forage production, total acres, grazeable acres, harvest efficiency, forage type, and the pasture start date. Additional notes can also be entered for each pasture. Finally, select "Save" at the bottom of the screen to finish setting up the pasture.
After clicking "Save", the pasture should appear in a list under the "Pastures" tab. To edit any details, click on the name of the pasture highlighted in green.

How do I create a grazing plan?

To begin creating a grazing plan, click on "Grazing Plans" in the grey header.
Once "Grazing Plans" is highlighted in orange, click "Add Grazing Plan".
In the new window, enter the grazing plan information including: the name of the grazing plan, beginning date, and end date. Additional notes can also be entered for each grazing plan. Finally, select "Save" at the bottom of the screen to finish setting up the grazing plan.
After clicking "Save", the name should appear in a list under the "Grazing Plans" tab. Click on "Plan" to design your grazing plan.

How do I manage my herds?

To find your herd, click anywhere in the “Herds” box.
If you have not created a herd yet, this screen will appear. Either click “Go To Website” in green text or open the GrazePro web application on a computer to add a herd.

Once you have finished creating a herd, move on to Step 3.
You can now select the herd that you would like to inspect or edit.
A menu will then appear that allows you to edit details of your herd and add notes. If you make any changes, make sure to select “Save” at the bottom of the screen.

To find a pasture, click anywhere in the “Pastures” box.
You can now select the pasture that you would like to inspect or edit.
Scroll to the bottom of the ”Edit Pasture” menu to find the “View Monitoring Sites” button.
A new page will then display your monitoring sites. If you have not created a monitoring site, you will need to do that in the web application.

Otherwise, select the monitoring site you would like to edit.
In the monitoring site menu, you can edit the name, location description, and add coordinates by either using your current location or by entering the coordinates manually. After you make changes, click “Save” at the bottom of the screen.

How do I add a monitoring site assessment?

In the Edit Pasture Menu, within the “Pastures” box, click ”View Monitoring Sites.”
In the “Monitoring Sites” menu, select the site you would like to add an assessment for.
At the bottom of the “Edit Monitoring Site” page, select “View Assessments.
In the ”Assessments” menu, you can now select “+Add Assessment” in highlighted green text.
Enter the assessment date as well as the total bare ground, vegetation, plant litter, and rock/gravel/stone percentages. After you have finished the bare ground assessment, select “+ Add Forage Utilization Entry” to continue the assessment.
Using the scrolling box select the plant species. Then, choose the utilization level. If you would like to be more precise, you can click on “Advanced” and enter your utilization level as an exact percentage. Then, click “Save Entry.”
Your forage utilization should now appear towards the bottom of the page. Double check that all of the information is correct. Then, select “Save”.

How can I review the planned details of my grazing plan?

To find your grazing plan, click anywhere in the “Grazing Plans” box.
Select the grazing plan that you would like to edit.
In the ”Grazing Plan Overview” menu, select ”Record Move” for the herd you would like to input the actual move.
Within the new page, use the scrolling box to select the destination pasture, and click the highlighted green “Change” to select the date. Select “Save” when you are done.

To find your grazing plan, click anywhere in the “Grazing Plans” box.
Select the grazing plan that you would like to edit.
In the ”Grazing Plan Overview” menu, select ”View Actual” for the herd you would like to view actual moves.
You can now view all of the recorded moves for that herd. If you need to change the date or location of your move, select “Edit.” If you need to undo the move, select “Remove.”
